TUI Baggage Allowance 2026: Cabin and Hold Luggage Explained

TUI includes a cabin bag for everyone and a hold bag on most package holidays, which makes it straightforward for families. Flight only bookings work a little differently, so here is the full picture.

Free Cabin Baggage

Every TUI passenger can bring one cabin bag up to 55x40x20cm weighing up to 10kg, plus a small under seat bag up to 40x30x20cm. This is included at no extra cost on all fares.

Compare Airport Parking Prices

Stop overpaying for airport parking. Compare prices across all UK airports and save up to 60% when you book in advance.

On a TUI package holiday, a 20kg hold allowance is normally included per person, rising to 25kg on some premium holidays. Any single bag can weigh up to 25kg, and if you are travelling as a group you can pool your allowance across bags, provided no single bag exceeds 25kg.

Excess and Fees

On a flight only booking you buy hold luggage in 15kg, 20kg or 25kg allowances. Excess baggage is charged at around 14 pounds per kilo on short haul, so add the right allowance when you book rather than paying at the airport.
