When Does TUI Release Flights and Holidays? Season Launch Dates

TUI, as the UK's biggest package holiday operator, releases its seasons in large batches rather than trickling flights out. Each summer and winter programme launches on a set on sale date, after which a huge range of destinations, hotels and flight only seats all become bookable at once.

When TUI Launches a Season

TUI tends to put its summer programmes on sale the previous autumn. As a recent example, TUI opened its Summer 2027 holidays on 16 October 2025, with more than 70 destinations available and free child places included on many bookings, even on long haul trips such as Florida. That is broadly a year and a half ahead of travel, similar to Jet2's very early launch approach.

Because TUI operates from more than twenty UK airports to over seventy destinations, and sells both packages and flight only seats, a season launch opens up a very wide choice on a single day. Winter sun programmes follow the same batch approach on their own on sale dates.

How to Book Well

Save whichterminal.co.uk/parking
Compare Airport Parking Prices

Stop overpaying for airport parking. Compare prices across all UK airports and save up to 60% when you book in advance.

The advantages of booking a TUI holiday early are the pick of dates and resorts, access to free child places, and flexible payment through a deposit followed by instalments before departure. On popular school holiday dates the best value hotels and the free child places can go quickly after launch.

TUI announces new seasons on its own website and through its email newsletter, so registering is the easiest way to know when a programme goes on sale. If you are booking flight only rather than a package, remember that hold luggage is not included as standard and needs to be added.

Before You Fly

Our TUI baggage allowance guide explains the cabin allowance and how hold luggage differs between package and flight only bookings. You can also read our TUI airline guide and follow flights on the day with live boards such as Birmingham departures and Bristol departures.
