When Does easyJet Release Flights? Booking Dates and How to Get the Best Fares

easyJet does not open every flight at once. Instead it releases its schedule in three or four seasonal batches across the year, generally making seats available somewhere between ten and thirteen months before departure. Usefully for anyone hoping to catch a release, easyJet tends to load new flights during the working day, often around 9am, rather than at midnight.

The Typical Release Pattern

Across a normal year easyJet's seasonal windows tend to fall roughly like this. The winter batch, broadly covering February and March, is usually released around March of the previous year. The spring batch, covering late March to the middle of June, tends to appear around May of the year before. The main summer batch, covering the middle of June to the middle of September, is typically released in late July of the previous year.

As a real world example, by late July 2026 easyJet had completed its 2027 releases, with seats bookable all the way through to 26 September 2027. That is a good illustration of the roughly ten to thirteen month horizon in practice.

How to Get the Best easyJet Fares

The single most important thing to know is that easyJet fares generally rise as a flight fills up. For high demand dates such as school holidays, Christmas and the peak summer weeks, the lowest fares are usually available on the day the schedule is released. Waiting rarely helps on those dates.

To be ready, keep an eye on easyJet's official flight release page, sign up to its email alerts so you hear about a new season first, and have your account logged in with passenger details saved before you search. If your dates are flexible, check the days either side, because a midweek departure is often noticeably cheaper than the Friday or Saturday.

If the flight you want has not appeared yet, it almost certainly means that seasonal batch has not been released, rather than the route being cut. It is worth checking back around the typical release windows above.
