Jet2 Baggage Allowance 2026: Cabin and Hold Luggage Explained

Jet2 is more generous than the budget airlines on cabin baggage, giving every passenger a proper cabin bag for free. Hold luggage rules differ depending on whether you book a flight only or a Jet2holidays package.

Free Cabin Baggage

Every Jet2 passenger can bring one cabin bag up to 56x45x25cm weighing up to 10kg, plus a small under seat bag up to 40x30x20cm. This is included for everyone at no extra cost, which makes Jet2 one of the more traveller friendly airlines for hand luggage.

Hold Luggage

On a Jet2holidays package, a 22kg hold bag is normally included per person. On a flight only booking you add hold luggage yourself, and you can add up to three 22kg bags per passenger. The absolute maximum weight for any single bag is 32kg.

Excess and Fees

If your hold bag is over your paid allowance, excess baggage is charged at around 12 pounds per kilo at the airport, so it is always cheaper to add the right allowance when you book. Weigh your bags at home to be sure.
