London Gatwick Water Outage: No Water in Either Terminal

Passengers travelling through London Gatwick are facing disruption today after a local water supply problem left both terminals without running water. The airport has confirmed that the outage is affecting the North and South Terminals, and staff are on hand to help travellers while the issue is resolved.

The airport says the disruption is being caused by a local water supply issue and that it is working with the water company to restore supply as quickly as possible. Some restaurant partners have opened to provide additional seating for waiting passengers.

A water outage of this kind does not automatically ground flights, but it can affect washroom facilities, food and drink outlets, and general operations across the terminals. If knock-on delays or cancellations do occur, it is worth keeping a close eye on live flight information before you travel to the airport.

Our advice for passengers
