Jet2 Announces Massive Gatwick Expansion for Summer 2027
Just weeks before their first Gatwick flights take off, Jet2 has revealed a 27% capacity boost for Summer 2027 - including a brand-new exclusive route to Lesvos.
Gatwick Gets the Jet2 Treatment
Jet2 is not hanging about. The airline has not even launched its first flight from London Gatwick yet (that is happening on 26th March 2026), but they have already announced a 27% capacity increase for Summer 2027.
With 1.1 million seats going on sale, Gatwick passengers will have access to 35 sun and city destinations - plus a brand-new exclusive route.

The headline announcement is Jet2s exclusive new route to Lesvos in Greece. Weekly Sunday flights will operate from 2nd May to 10th October 2027, making Jet2 the only airline flying direct from Gatwick to this stunning Aegean island.
Lesvos offers a proper Greek escape - think medieval streets, traditional villages, gorgeous beaches and far fewer crowds than the usual hotspots. Perfect if you are after something a bit different.
